$$ to Build

HFH Homeowners can spend just about $1.50 per day to heat their homes during a Minnesota winter.

HFH homes built using sustainable building methods, such as the Enterprise Foundation’s Green Communities guidelines, have proven low utility bills.

This is why HFHMN has grant and loan programs available for affiliates that build to Green Communities. Click on the programs below for more info.

Impact Fund Grant (fka CRV grant). Generously funded by Minnesota Housing, this HFHMN program grants up to $13,500 for sustainable construction.

HFH-MN Green Mortgage Fund. Thanks to funding from the Community Development Financial Institution Fund, HFH-MN can offer very low interest loans for sustainable home construction.
